Something that all dogs need: Exercise, Walks & Mental Stimulation!!  Pooky's club was originally established in 2003 as a "cockers" only meetup. I created it to exercise & socialize my "reactive" dog around other dogs & to meet other cocker owners in the area who love the breed as much as I do. Soon thereafter, people started contacting me saying that they didnt have a cocker, but could they come pleazzzze? So effective 2006 I changed it to Pooky's All Breed Dog Walking Club! All breeds & age …

We are a group of Astorians who own/love dogs and we are on a mission to restore Bugsy's Dog Run at Astoria Park. Most of the legalities are done, we are just waiting for final approval, and then we will raise funds and get to work! In addition we will be organizing dog related events, from playdates at the park, to road trips to dog-friendly beaches in the summer and whatever other suggestions our members come up with. Please join us, and become part of a great Astoria community!

This group is for dogs and their owners to get together for walks, trips to the park, the beach, and especially lunches and brunches at dog friendly restaurants with outdoor seating :) We may also do a day trip or overnight adventure with our dogs! We love our pets...but we also love doing fun human things! There are SO many groups for dogs on here - this one is for the dogs AND their owners. Let's do all the things humans like....with our furry friends too! :)
